Crisper tulips with a tiny spout

I switched to a 1.3 mm V-spout this week and my tulip layers landed cleaner using a 20-second stretch to 95F, finishing the milk at 135F. Are you getting better contrast keeping the first drop from about 6–8 inches before settling, or does a lower starting height give you smoother leaves on busy mornings?

I go 2s high, then low; smoother leaves than ‘6–8 inches’ — try a slight cup tilt. You sticking with 135F?

Quick pre-dot from about 4 inches, then drop low; versus “6–8 inches,” 138F gives me extra sheen… Agree?
